MidSummer Macon Junior Camps are sponsored by GEICO and offer students ages 10 to 13 a more in depth two week camp experience. Classes are designed to challenge and excite the middle school student whether or not he/she has had any arts training. Students choose a major course of study and then participate in two elective courses that are from a different discipline. Camps are taught by artists and educators who have experience working with the age group. Curriculum has been developed to both challenge and reward students at all experience levels. Every ten students are assigned a high school counselor who is responsible for the group throughout the day. Campers bring a sack lunch and break refreshments are provided. Some recreational activity is included in each day.
